MRSOE! Presents…”Stand-Up @ The Sparrow
Stand-Up Comedy is returning to Park Circle in North Charleston, SC with “Stand-Up @ The Sparrow” – a monthly live comedy show with a Food Truck, Drink Specials and more!
Join us every last Thursday of each month as we turn The Sparrow into a comedy club and bring in national touring headliners from across North America!
On Thursday, April 30th, MRSOE! and The Sparrow welcome Mia Jackson to its stage! Mia has appeared on Oxygen’s “Girls Behaving Badly” and TLC’s “Wild Weddings” and most recently taped a comedy set for NickMom’s Night Out! Featuring for Mia will be two of Charleston’s best up-and-coming comedians Jon Antoine and Jessica Mickey! Each show will be hosted by everyone’s favorite Park Circle Realtor/Comedy Producer – Neil Bansil!
Make sure to come early and bring your appetite, because this month we are featuring the Dashi Food Truck, which offers food with a Latin and Asian twist! (see sample menu in FAQ’s below).
For this month’s show we are also proud to be supporting local non-profit “Girls Rock Charleston” – a local grassroots organization that aims to empower girls and transgender youth through music education, DIY media, and creative collaboration. $1 from every ticket sold will be donated to the charity and in addition, Holy City Brewing will be providing us with a special beer, and all proceeds from the sale of that beer will go towards Girls Rock Charleston as well!
7:00pm – Join us for pre-show music, Dashi Food Truck, and Drink Specials!
Tickets are $10 At-the-door (cash and credit card), but if you buy your tickets in advance you will save $3!
**Your ticket also includes a drink ticket for a Special Holy City Beer!
Seating is limited and is first come, first served, so get there early!
MIA JACKSON BIO:
Mia Jackson, a native of Columbus, Georgia and a self proclaimed know it all, wondered what would happen if she took her sense of humor to the stage. That’s exactly what she did! After graduating from the University of Georgia she hit the local comedy scene and has thrilled audiences since day one.
