People always ask me why I created The Most RACES Show on Earth! and it’s because
I believe diversity makes us better. I believe being around people who are different than us, makes us more tolerant, more accepting, more caring of others. We understand each other more. We’re not scared of each other.
I grew up in Toronto, Canada, a city known as one of the most multicultural cities in the world, and growing up my best friends were Trinidadian, Jamaican, Pakistani, White, Black, Asian, and when I moved to the U.S. in 2006 to Atlanta, GA, one of the first things I noticed was the division between people. It wasn’t like Toronto, where you would interact daily with people who were different than you, and your friends were comprised of all different cultures. It was just very Black and White, then in 2011, I moved to Charleston, SC, and the division between people there was even more evident.
It made wonder why? Why is there this separation? and since the election, I can tell you it’s getting worse. There’s a fundamental issue with how people think about race, diversity, religion and sexual orientation right now.
I created The Most RACES Show on Earth as my way of bringing people together through comedy. I feature the funniest comedians of all different ethnicities, cultures, religions and sexual orientations because I believe that just being around people who are different from you makes us better.
That’s why I do The Most RACES Show on Earth!
If you believe what I believe, then I look forward to seeing you at a show!
Thank you for listening.
